Still Here

 Still haven't forgotten about this blog and I know it's been a very long time last I did anything around here. It was just a lot of stuff has happened in the past 12ish months that took priority over it. Major one is that my mother suffered major health issues and ended up succumbing to those health issues. Aftermath was a whole other stress in itself. While that was happening I was going through a separation that he did not take well. Dealing with my mother's rapid deterioration combined with an abusive stalker ex was....absolutely the most stressful time in my life. And that's putting it lightly. It got so bad I had to literally abandon everything I owned and fly halway across the United States with basically just the shirt off my back just to escape him. Starting back to square one absolutely sucks but I would do it again if it meant to be happy again.

Oh and I also got in a car accident last month which fucked me up a little bit. I can never catch a break, can I?

Anyway, this also means I let behind my laptop that I did all my transcripts on, books I bought and VHS tapes related to Beyond Bizarre all got left behind as sad it is to admit. Spoiler alert, the VHS tapes is literally just the first 3 episodes so it wasn't lost media or anything.It was just an amazing nostalgic buy from me. 

The books, however, I hope I can re buy them one day as they are no longer in print. People that were featured on the show wrote these books and I was in the middle of reading one of them when shit hit the fan. Ugh. Life, man.

Point is, I'm slowly but surely getting my life back together. Honestly, not sure when I'll come back to properly update this blog as I still have a lot to sort through but yup that's the update.

These episodes recently got uploaded to Internet Archive a little under a year ago. Here are the links! Always best to download them for yourself just in case these links for go for some reason. A YouTube channel used to have a playlist but said channel got terminated 😭 I backed mine up already. Internet Archive: The End?

So...have you heard about the drama with the Internet Archive? I still don't know a whole lot but when I tried to access it this morning it was temporarily unavailable. A quick Google search has it littered with articles how IA recently lost against the Supreme Court and was forced to remove hundreds of thousands books offline. As if that couldn't get any worse, it appeared to have been hacked. What does this have to do with Beyond Bizarre? All of the existing episodes are on there. So if The Internet Archive is no longer accessible that means no more access to Beyond Bizarre. That is, if you haven't downloaded any of it.  I recently received an email from a very kind person who linked me to episodes they recorded! Skimming through it, it looks like there was actually at least a handful of lost episodes on there. Can't confirm it just yet due to my hectic and busy life unfortunately.
